6.    Thank you to all the volunteers who came out and helped with Panorama Hills School casino.  Everyone did a fantastic job and we appreciate their commitment and dedication to the school.  We won’t know the total numbers from the casino for a while, but the last casino was $68,000, this works out to about $2,000 a volunteer.  Awesome job!  The money raised will have an impact on the education of all the students at Panorama Hills School.  Thank you!!

2.    Scholastic in Mrs. Schroeder’s class came home today.  If you ordered the Lego Ninjago book please email me because there is no student name on the order form.  Mrs. McGivern’s order should be in this week.

3.     VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:  Grade 1 students will be traveling downtown to hear the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra perform "Peter and the Wolf" on November 6 (9:30 - 12:00).  If you are interested in volunteering for this field trip, please contact Mrs. Mann by September 26 at ormann@cbe.ab.ca.

During Parent Conferences a few people had mentioned that they were having difficulty using Tumble Books from home.  I have tried it from my own home computer and was able to log in successfully.  When logging in make sure you use the following information:
