We had an exciting first day!

Today we are sending home a purple homework folder.  Please sign and return all documents that are required back to school in this folder.

Today the grade 1 students read "The Kissing Hand" we did some art with this story.  We also read "The Golden Rule"  and came up with classroom expectations that are:
If I am kind to others they will be kind to me.
If I am respectful to others they will be respectful to me.
If I am friendly to others they will be friendly to me.

Please ensure your child has appropriate indoor shoes that can be used in gym (ie: shoelaces if they are able to tie otherwise runners with velcro are great!)

Please label shoes, lunchkits and backpacks.
