Homework
1.  Read for 20 minutes everyday.  This could be a library book, home reading or a book online.  It is beneficial to have your child read their home reading book multiple times.  This helps to improve fluency.  Remind your child to use their grapheme knowledge when sounding out new words.

What we did in Gym today.
My “Tell and Show” blue duotang.

Reminders
  1.    Homework books will stay at school over the weekend and be returned on Tuesday as there is no school on Monday.

  2.    Blue “Tell and Show” duotangs went home today.  Your child’s Tell and Show day is the same as their library exchange day.  If your child’s day is Monday, they will be sharing their Tell and Show on Tuesday.  Please review the rubric with your child so that they understand the expectations for the oral presentation and the written work.  Please do not have your child do all the pages.  This week students should only complete the “Aa” page, sharing something that begins with A.  Try to be creative, we don’t want 42 apples.   3.    Library rotation will start next week. If your child’s day is Monday they will be changing their books on Tuesday.  https://docs.google.com/document/d/1InyvYSFeiC6WeTw9jfwMvuk1UDiYBKtuFLb-kn9-hbg/edit
