Homework
1. Read for 20 minutes everyday. This could be a library book, home reading or
a book online. It is beneficial to have
your child read their home reading book multiple times. This helps to improve fluency.

DAY:
Join classmates and members of our community for Walk to School Day, Wednesday, October 8th!
We can celebrate this day of active travel to school by:
-making a meeting time and spot to walk to school with a schoolmate
who lives nearby
-parking the car further away from school and walking the rest of
the way
Those who participate can share how they felt from their walk with
their Teacher and get a stamp or sticker for celebrating Walk to School
Day!

NOTE: If you usually get a ride to and from school and are walking
instead, please make a plan with your guardian. If you usually take the
bus, please let your bus driver know when you will NOT be on the bus.
